During those years when Sathya's stage performances were gaining fame, a professional drama troupe visited the area and staged some musical plays. There was a danseuse by name Rishyendramani in their group who combined gymnastics with dance and performed some unusual feats which attracted huge audience. Out of curiosity Sathya went with others to watch the performance. Soon after He tried to imitate the performance He had earlier witnessed, and much to the surprise of His family members, He was able to, without much ado. He was persuaded by His friends and relatives to perform this dance item in the guise of Rishyendramani during the Rathotsavam festival at Kothacheruvu. Sathya did better than the danseuse and won the applause of everyone present. No one knew that it was Sathya and not Rishyendramani whom they had witnessed performing. When the people became aware that it was Sathya who had performed the feat, He received invitations from many places to perform that dance item.
