On one Thursday, Adbul Khadar, the student leader, mustered the courage to accost Sathya with an interesting question. "When will India gain Independence?", he asked. The reply was immediate and firm. "We will celebrate our Independence on the 15th of August 1947". Nobody believed it. When India finally became independent on that day four years later, Khadar realised Sathya's greatness and omniscience.
